Jason is a member of the State Bars of Massachusetts, California and New York. Before moving to Massachusetts, he spent six years on active duty as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he attended Santa Clara University School of Law. He worked as a Deputy Public Defender in Fresno County before entering the NYU School of Law Master of Laws program. He has consulted for the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative; clerked for Human Rights Watch and Human Rights Law Network; and guest lectured at Harvard University.
